Announcing our Promoting Student Success Program!
Promoting Student Success is a program designed to motivate and encourage students to strive for excellence.
Each marking period, an effort grade is assigned to students by teachers in each class. This effort grade is based on a rubric which considers a student’s attendance, participation, and academic grades. The grade can be found in the comment section of the report card. Students who meet a criteria based on how many satisfactory effort grades they earn are granted reward opportunities. These rewards opportunities may include small celebrations, and fun activities both on and off school grounds. They will take place quarterly.

Unadilla Valley girls volleyball team will host Union Springs tonight at 5:00 pm in a quarterfinal sectional game. The game will also be livestreamed on our YouTube channel uvstorm xtra.
Unadilla Valley Youth Basketball registration forms are due to Matt Osborne by Tuesday, November 1. If you need more information email Matt at MOsborne@uvstorm.org.
At approximately 2:25 p.m. today, UV lost power. Our backup generator is running and powering our critical school systems. Dismissal will occur on schedule today at 3:05 p.m.
The Class of 2023 was in the Halloween spirit this morning as they paraded around the school. Lots of great costumes!
Many thanks to Preferred Mutual, who has once again sponsored RIF for the 2022-23 school year. Preferred has generously donated $3,100 to the program! Thanks so much. This program is very important for our students!

Varsity girls volleyball will host a quarterfinal sectional game at home on November 1 at 5:00 pm.
Winter sports student/parent meeting is scheduled for Weds. November 2 at 5:15 pm in the auditorium. Any student planning to play a winter sport should attend.

Varsity girls soccer falls to Watkins Glen in the quarterfinals of sectionals 4-0. Congratulations on a great season and best of luck to our graduating seniors.
This Saturday, the Night of Fun is back at UV! Dress up in your best costumes and come on down to UV for a night of spooktacular fun! Doors open at 5 p.m. and stay open through 7 p.m. We hope to see you there!
The girl's varsity soccer sectional game at Watkins Glen will start at 4:00 pm tomorrow 10/21, not 3:30 as previously scheduled.

Updated parking information for Saturdays girls volleyball MAC Championship game @ Delhi College. Spectators will park in the lower parking lot and be shuttled by bus up to the gymnasium. There will be a return shuttle after the game.
There will be a spectator bus to Delhi College on Sat 10/22 for the girl's volleyball MAC Championship game. Please contact Matt Osborne if you would like to ride the bus. It will leave UV at 415 pm. 607-847-7500 ext. 1146
Congratulations to our girls varsity volleyball team on their semifinal win tonight. MAC Championship game is scheduled for Sat. 10/22 @ Delhi College at 6:00 pm. Admission is $3 for students, $5 for adults, under 10 free.
