UV is proud to announce our valedictorian and salutatorian for 2026. Congratulations to Valedictorian Natalya Schrag and Salutatorian Teagan Buffington!
Natalya, the daughter of Wade Schrag, is earning an advanced Regents Diploma with Honors and Mastery in Math and Science.
Her extra-curricular activities in high school included SADD, National Honor Society, varsity soccer, varsity indoor track, varsity outdoor track and field and History Club.
Natalya’s future plans include attending college to earn a bachelor’s degree in sonography.
Natalya’s message: “Don’t get carried away with things you cannot control. Enjoy the few years you have.”
Teagan, the daughter of Jennifer Buffington, is earning an advanced Regents Diploma with Honors and Mastery in Math.
Her extracurricular activities include SADD, Future Business Leaders of America, her work as a waitress, and fostering animals.
Teagan’s future plans include attending RIT to major in diagnostic medical sonography.
Teagan’s message: “Make sure you live in the moment because you never know that it’s over until it’s already past.”
