The modified lockout at Unadilla Valley Central School has ended, and the school day and all after-school activities are continuing as normal. We wish to thank our area law enforcement for their quick response.

The original modified lockout message issued at 1:24 p.m. today is below:

Unadilla Valley CSD was notified this afternoon of a threat by students who do not attend school at UV.

New York State Police were informed of the threat, and law enforcement is onsite at the school, which has entered a modified lockout. The state police have advised the district to require that all visitors enter the building through the main entrance. The School Resource Officer will be supervising the doors.

As a precaution, all outside classes, including recess, and PE have been brought inside the building. Otherwise, the school day is continuing as scheduled. At this time, after-school activities will remain as scheduled.

We will update our school community with more information as it becomes available.
