Unadilla Valley CSD is taking a proactive stance by asking that families and staff give consent now in the event Chenango County becomes a “yellow zone” where the school will be required to test 20 percent of staff/students.
In the district’s continued efforts to be proactive, we are asking for your consent to have your child volunteer for COVID-19 testing. The Chenango County Department of Health, under the Governor’s guidelines has determined that if the positivity rate exceeds a 7-day rolling average of 3.5% all school districts will be required to test 20% of its staff and students to maintain in-person learning. While we haven’t reached “yellow zone” status we want to have a plan communicated and ready to implement if needed. We need your help to ensure we are prepared to shift to remote learning at any time. There is no fee for this test. Please fill out the consent form for your child to have the COVID-19 test via Family ID.
