Modified boys soccer team attends Major League Soccer game
In the fall, most of the modified boys soccer team members traveled with Mr. Hand and the Chenango Chargers Soccer Club to PPL Park in Philadelphia.
For many it was the very first time they attended a live professional sports event. The MLS (Major League Soccer) match up for that day was the Philadelphia Union hosting Sporting Kansas City. Philadelphia came out victorious despite SKC being the favored team to win.
As a special treat Mr. Hand arranged of the entire group to actually get down on the field for some great photo opportunities. They got to see the stadium from a player’s point of view. Everyone had a great time and came home with some great giveaways.
The Chenango Chargers sponsors the trip annually and is open to anyone who wants to go. The team is already looking forward to next year’s trip.
