Early release drill set for Friday, Oct. 18
In accordance with state law, Unadilla Valley Central School District is holding an early release drill at 2:50 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18. Students will be released 15 minutes early that day. Parents should expect students who are bused to arrive home 15 minutes early.

There will be no impact on after-school activities.

There will also be a lockdown drill held before the early release drill at approximately 1 p.m. This will be the only announced drill for this school year.

Drills are an important first step in keeping Unadilla Valley CSD students and staff safe. The District follows protocols which allow administrators, staff and students to mitigate, prepare for and recover from a variety of incidents.

We want our families to have a better understanding of the different drills we practice throughout the year so you can help your student feel prepared and safe. For more information on these drills, please see our Know the Drill page.

Please note, all faculty and staff members are to stay and work the remainder of their regularly scheduled work day.
