The FILLS program is returning to UV!

The Families into Literacy and Learning Succeed program is provided at no cost by Unadilla Valley CSD to families who live within the school district and who have a child that is 3 years old or younger.

Children are accompanied every day by a parent or caregiver to enjoy interactive learning. Participating children and their adult partners work together on activities that encourage foundational literacy skills through stories, play, crafts, music and movement.

FILLS is self-transport. An adult parent, family member, or caregiver must accompany children and participate in the program.

During the coming school year, beginning in October, FILLS will have two classes - one on Tuesdays and Thursday; and the other on Wednesdays and Fridays. The program will follow the school calendar and run from 8:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided to children.

To help us plan for the coming year, please fill out the short form below. We will reach out to you at a later date with additional information, including an application.

It is a time for caregivers to learn and play with their children in a supportive environment. Curriculum, crafts and activities are led by a certified teacher.

What does FILLS stand for ?

FILLS stands for Families into Literacy and Learning Succeed. We believe that the power of learning is greater when it is a collaboration between the classroom, the caregiver and the child.
