TYPIST - ANTICIPATED VACANCY
Anticipated Vacancy: Unadilla Valley CSD is seeking a Typist. This is a full time twelve month position. Qualifications include successful completion of civil service exam (if taken after hire then the candidate will be provisionally appointed to the position pending successful completion of the civil service exam).; AND Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of office terminology, procedures, and equipment; Working knowledge of the principles and practices of computerized record maintenance; Working knowledge of business arithmetic and English; Ability to operate the alphanumeric keyboard of a typewriter, word processor, or personal computer at a speed of 35 words per minute; Ability to format letters and set up appropriate forms, charts, and other tabular listings; Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; Ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people; Ability to organize and maintain office files weighing up to 50 pounds; Ability to perform close, detail work involving considerable visual effort and concentration; Ability to maintain neat and legible records; Ability to operate a variety of office equipment; Ability to hear well and speak distinctly; Clerical aptitude; mental alertness; accuracy; tact and courtesy; Capable of performing the essential job functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

SENIOR TYPIST - ANTICIPATED VACANCY
Anticipated Vacancy: Unadilla Valley CSD is seeking a Senior Typist. This is a full time twelve month position. Qualifications include high school diploma; Associate's degree in Secretarial Science, Information Processing, Office Technology, or a closely related field; OR Completion of at least (30) credit hours in secretarial science, information processing or office technology from a regionally accredited college or university AND one year of full-time paid clerical experience or its’ part-time equivalent that included typing; OR Two years of full-time paid office clerical experience or its’ part time equivalent, one year of which included typing; OR An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined above; AND Successful completion of civil service test at a later date required for permanent appointment (if taken after hire then the candidate will be provisionally appointed to the position pending successful completion of the civil service exam).
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Good knowledge of office terminology; Perform moderately difficult typing and clerical work; Must be adept and work within a paperless environment; Understands and works within the confidential nature of the office both orally and written; Ability to work within a team environment in a high traffic area; Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on the needs of the office.

Minimum qualifications include working knowledge of proper methods of preparing and serving; ability to operate a variety of kitchen equipment; knowledge of proper methods used in the care and cleaning of kitchen utensils and equipment; dependability; tact and courtesy. SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
Immediate Opening: Unadilla Valley CSD is seeking a School Psychologist. Qualifications include NYS Certification as School Psychologist. Selected candidate will plan and coordinate program of psychological services including identifying and assessing the learning, development, and adjustment characteristics and needs of students; providing consultation to parents, teachers, other school personnel; and assisting in the planning, development, and evaluation of programs to meet identified learning and adjustment needs through the IEP process.
