Minimum Qualifications: Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities, Working knowledge of the proper methods of preparing and serving; Knowledge of the appropriate methods used in the care and cleaning of kitchen utensils and equipment; Ability to operate a variety of kitchen equipment; Ability to follow simple oral and written directions; Ability to stand for long periods; Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 45 pounds; Ability to bend, stoop, and twist; reach high, low, and level; Ability to make continuous or repetitive arm-hand movements; Good hearing and vision; Dependability; tact and courtesy; Physical condition commensurate with the demands of position.
