Back to School Updates

Good morning, please find below some Back to School updates from Elementary Principal Kathleen Hansen and Secondary Principal Kim Murray.

Elementary School Updates

Dear UV Family:

Welcome to the 2021-22 school year! We will begin this year with full-time, in-person learning. Students may bring in their supplies the first day of school. We will be following many of the routines that we followed last school year, but we will have adults to guide the process. All teachers and staff are looking forward to seeing you on Thursday. It will be wonderful to start off the school year as an elementary community.

  • Please remember to complete all forms in Family ID, students will not be allowed to take their devices home until the Parent/Student Shared Device Agreement is complete. Returning students need to complete the following:
    • 1. Parent/Student Shared Device
      • The district is continuing to offer its device insurance this school year. Here, you will find details about about the program and information on how to submit payment.
    • 2. Annual Student Information
    • 3. Health Services Annual Update
  • As many of you know, we have implemented a new bus routing system to make transporting your children more efficient and safer. Thank you for all the responses that came into the transportation department informing us of your updated busing needs. Due to the large number of additional children riding the bus this year, some changes were made to routes after the letters that came home. Your child’s bus number and stop time may be different from the letter that came in the mail. Your elementary child will have a new transportation letter coming home with their first day of school information. Thank you for your understanding as we do our best to provide the most efficient use of resources while still providing you with the excellent service we have strived to provide over the years.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions. You can contact Ms. Hansen at khansen@uvstorm.org
